Darlington Hippodrome is an Edwardian theatre that combines the heritage of a 115 year old music hall with 21st century facilities including a dance studio, accessible lifts to all floors, as well as accessible toilets on every level.
Our Youth Theatre and Youth Dance programmes offer young people aged 7-19 the opportunity to perform in productions on either our main stage or in our partner venue The Hullabaloo.
We have/have had young people with Down Syndrome, autism, ADHD, and dyspraxia take part, and there are wheelchair lifts to all areas where the groups would rehearse or perform.
