We are run completely by volunteers, providing five riding sessions a week for a very wide range of people of all ages with disabilities. Our sessions are on a Monday afternoon, Tuesday morning, Wednesday afternoon, Thursday morning and Saturday mornings by arrangement, providing both individual sessions and group sessions. We also offer non riding therapy sessions for those who are unable to ride, but can benefit from interacting with horses.

Horse riding offers the opportunity for enjoyment, challenge, friendship, laughter, achievement, independence and confidence. It is unusual as a therapy because it offers an element of risk, often denied to many people, especially those who have been affected by an accident or serious illness and gives them the chance to regain mobility and a sense of achievement. People with congenital disabilities discover a new freedom in movement. Those with progressive diseases can retain mobility and activity longer.

We cater for children over 4 years old and adults. All new riders are assessed to ensure we have a suitable pony/horse and that our facilities are sufficient to cater for individual needs.
As a self-funded charity, we rely on fundraising events and the generous help from our volunteers and supporters. We are a small, very friendly RDA group and we would welcome help from anyone with a few hours to spare. No previous experience with horses is required as we provide full training and support.
