Everyone Active work in partnership with Sport for Confidence to deliver a wide range of inclusive activities within the centres. These sessions are suitable for anyone age 16+ who may face challenges to accessing sport and physical activity and includes a variety of activities including trampolining, Boccia, swimming, multi sports, netball and dance. The leisure centre also provides additional needs swimming lessons for children.
The Sport for Confidence programme is delivered and directed by occupational therapists and sports coaches and seeks to ensure that people with long term physical, sensory, intellectual and mental health conditions and any individual with additional support needs can access sport and physical activity on an equal basis to their peers.
