Thrive use an approach called Social and Therapeutic Horticulture (STH) where our trained horticultural practitioners work with plants and people to improve health, wellbeing, and quality of life.

We run a range of STH programmes and community outreach programmes for young people and adults from our three regional centres in Birmingham’s King Heath Park, Reading and in Battersea Park in London

At Thrive Birmingham we have a variety of programmes depending on the needs of the individual:

Sow and Grow – a 12 week program for 50’s experiencing loneliness, isolation and mental ill health
Life Changers – for those that have experienced life changing illness or injury
Grow & Learn – our City and Guilds program for SEND school children
General Sessions – an ongoing program for clients with a range of disabilities
