Established in 2006, Twistin Tots is a non-profit organisation that runs a variety of Derbyshire-based music and movement classes for toddlers, babies and pre-schoolers (aged 0-5).

    Our classes aim to introduce the concepts of socialisation, co-operation and communication to very young children through music and movement. We also offer baby classes which offer sensory and baby development activities, and baby signing to children aged 0-18 months and their grown ups.

    We offer two types of classes: Twistin Tots (ages 0-5s) and Twistin Tinies Adventures (ages 0-18 months, non-walkers). They run during Term Time.

    Our classes include a fun mix of rhymes, songs actions and props through exciting themes to educate your children and keep them entertained.

    Our class at Darley Abbey (Twistin Tots) runs on Thursdays 9.45-10.30. The venue has disabled access, disabled ramp and accessible toilet, as well as a large car park.

    Each week we go on an exciting adventure to a magical place - maybe to Space, the Jungle, to the Farm or Under the Sea. We use a variety of props (parachutes, bubbles, puppets, instruments, light shows) and lots of fun songs which children love to keep our toddlers, babies and pre-schoolers entertained.

    Our Twistin Tots classes also runs in other locations as follows:

    Mondays - Belper Community Hall, Bridge St, Belper DE561BA - Stay and Play session, so music session followed by unstructured play with toys and ride-ons. 9.45-11.30

    Tuesdays - Belper Community Hall, Bridge St, Belper DE561BA, 9.45-10.30

    Wednesdays - Community Room, Arc Leisure, Bakewell Road, Matlock, DE4 3AZ, 9.45-10.30

    Childminders and grandparents welcome.

    The venue has disabled access, disabled ramp and accessible toilet.
