The inspiration for the project is to help and teach people of any ability, who might not have had the opportunity before, to get active, learn something new and have fun.
By “inclusive” we mean everyone. From young to old, whether you are in a wheelchair, partially sighted or blind, deaf, have anxiety, stress or other mental health issues, we are here to help and make it fun for you. We believe anybody can play tennis. Anybody from any background and any community. No matter what their age, shape, or ability.
We are dedicated to improving health and well-being through sports and education. We aim to reduce obesity, encourage people to be active in the community, increase confidence and teach tennis as a lifetime skill! We also want to bring communities together and improve social engagement whilst decreasing isolation in the community.
Our Community Interest Company is based in Wigan, where we aim to provide new sporting opportunities to all members of our community.
All our coaches are enhanced DBS checked, first aid trained, safeguarding trained and insured.
