Our classes aim to introduce the concepts of socialisation, co-operation and communication to very young children through music and movement. We also offer baby classes which offer sensory and baby development activities, and baby signing to children aged 0-18 months and their grown ups.
We offer two types of classes: Twistin Tots and Twistin Tinies Adventures. Our classes include a fun mix of rhymes, songs actions and props through exciting themes to educate your children and keep them entertained and also meet EYFS key requirements.
Twistin Tinies Adventures is for parents / carers who have babies (non-Walkers) aged from birth - 18months. It is a sensory, music and development class which aims to develop key skills in babies and includes and element of baby signing activities. It includes social time for parents to chat, make friends and share experiences, and each week, in addition to the face-to-face class includes a free video that parents can watch at home. It also gives access to a Panel of Experts - covering subjects from nutrition, sleeping and baby-wearing to child-friendly holidays and well-being - who can be approached for advice. Classes run as follows:
- Monday 12.30-1.30pm and Tuesday 11.15-12.15 at Belper Community Hall, Bridge St, Belper DE56 1BA. This Hall has disabled access, disabled ramp, accessible toilet and is breast-feeding friendly.
- Wednesday 11.15-12.15 - Community Room, Arc Leisure, Bakewell Rd, Matlock DE4 3AZ. Disabled access, parking and accessible toilets.
