Our sessions are currently Friday evenings but only during term time at the Latchmere Leisure Centre on Friday evenings, and is for children and young people aged 5 years +
We also have sessions on Sundays at Putney leisure centre.
We have young people from Wandsworth and surrounding boroughs. We hold in-house competitions.
The club runs:
- sessions for non-swimmers in the training pool;
- advanced sessions in the main pool.
Our sessions are group sessions. No session is one to one. Also in the training pool, parent or a carer needs to be in the pool and to support the child as they are non swimmers. Which helps encourage the non swimmers more to embrace the water. As some aren't able to communicate. Since adapting these to our sessions the families are really happy with this experience.
